Let’s Get Dressed for What Comes Next 🌸

There’s something rather exciting about returning home from a European summer just as Sydney is beginning to step into spring, with spring style 2026 starting to appear everywhere.

After a month in South of France and the Greek Islands, I’ve come home with plenty of wonderful memories, but also that familiar feeling I always get after travelling: Looking at my own wardrobe with fresh eyes.

For weeks, getting dressed was uncomplicated. I wore clothes on repeat. Dresses went from day to dinner. The same skirt appeared with different tops and shoes. A small number of pieces did most of the work.

It reminded me that the clothes we enjoy wearing most are often the ones that make getting dressed feel easy.

So as we move further into spring, I’m bringing a little of that European summer feeling home with me, the ease, the lighter way of dressing and, most of all the enjoyment of putting an outfit on and getting out the door.

This month, less wardrobe advice and more Spring Style 2026 inspiration.

Summer may be over in Europe.

Luckily, ours is just getting started.

From European Summer to Spring in Sydney 

A month of summer has definitely left it’s mark on me.

The beautiful blues of the Mediterranean. Stripes and prints. Scarves tied as tops. Bare shoulders. Dresses at dinner. Great shoes, Baskets, sunglasses and jewellery. And colour absolutely everywhere, from market stalls and restaurants tables to beach umbrellas and what people were wearing.

I don’t want to recreate a European holiday wardrobe at home, however, I do want to hold onto some of that spirit.

A little less serious. A little more playful. And a reminder that fashion is allowed to be fun.

So What’s Caught My Eye For Spring Style?

Now for the fun part.

Spring is beginning to arrive in stores and there are already a few things making me want to pack away the last of the winter wardrobe.

Rather than giving you a list of trends, I’ve pulled together some of the pieces that have caught my eye, because they’re the ones making me excited for the season ahead.

The Shorter Jacket

After seasons of oversized blazers, I’m kind of loving the return of a shorter silhouette. Relaxed, modern and in lighter fabrics, it feel just right for spring style.

The New Floral

Florals for spring style are hardly ground breaking. However I am loving the return of the oversized flower brooch. Pinned to a jacket, dress, shirt and handbag defines spring style 2026 so well.

The Spring Dress

Spring is when dresses become interesting again. This season I’m drawn to colour, movement and shape. Dresses with a little personality that make you want to put them on.

The Spring Shoe

Sometimes the first thing that makes me excited about a new season isn’t the clothes. It’s the accessories. A great shoe can completely change the mood of an outfit.

THE 90″S SKIRT

I didn’t just stop and look at this one, I bought it. I love the return of that clean 90’s simplicity, and the soft cotton grey feels fresh against all the white I wear through spring and summer.

THE RAFFIA BAG

Raffia always signals the beginning of warmer weather for me. I love the bucket shape for this one, relaxed enough for summer, yet polished enough that it doesn’t feel like a beach bag.

THE STATEMENT CHAIN

Arms of Eve

Jewellery that can change a simple outfit means everything to me. A chunky chain with a little colour does exactly that. Pair with a white shirt, a dress or your favourite tee-shirt and blazer.

THE LITTLE LUXURY

This little gem has been living in my handbag for a while now. I can confirm, it’s great. Hydrating, glossy lip balm, without being sticky, and one of those little everyday luxuries I keep reaching for.
